Didn't plan to stop at BT this weekend, but did so on a whim. So glad we did! Beautiful grounds, gorgeous day, informative and very knowledgeable guide, Logan. He knew his stuff, made it interesting and funny and we couldn't wait to taste! Our first visit to a distillery that makes vodka which is an outstanding taste. But then the... More

We stopped at this one because a friend told us about it. It was not on the list of the Kentucky Bourbon trails but thought we would still do it. So glad we did. It was by far the nicest one. The staff was very friendly and the price was even better FREE. So that left us more money to... More

Had the opportunity to visit the Buffalo Trace Distillery in conjunction with a business organization. The grounds are impeccable--it is like walking in a park. The tour is informative and engaging. The tasting room is another wonderful experience. Our "pourer" was Lee and he is as friendly as anyone can be. He told stories, gave insights and was just a... More

I was at this distillery twice in 2016- once for a tour/tasting and again in October for a wedding. The grounds are beautiful, the tour is interesting and informative, and the bourbon is at or near the top of most people's list. The wedding venue was also excellent.

We stopped in to see if they had any special Blanton releases for sale or even perhaps a bottle of Pappy's (wishful thinking) - they did not - but what they did have was tons of fun merchandise in a dog friendly atmosphere with the most amazing staff. Customer service could not have been better and I sincerely mean that.... More

We decided to stop here later in the afternoon while we were running the bourbon trail and were so impressed that we came back the next day for a tour. Unlike most distilleries, all the tours are free and while you don't get to sample the top shelf bourbon, its still an excellent tour. The tour guide was excellent and... More

Live in Frankfort, so have been here several times. They do a great tour, but this visit was with grandnieces for lighting of the trace, Santa visit. The girls, my nephew and myself all enjoyed ourselves - fun evening.

Not only do they make award winning spirits, but the tour was exceptional. A mix of how bourbon is made but moreover a relating of the history of bourbon and moreover the history of the oldest continuous distillery in America. The guide (David) was informative and friendly. He put everyone at ease and his knowledge was both personal and informative.... More

After visiting bourbon trail distilleries all day we were not sure about another tour, but since this was free and we did not need a reservation, we joined in. Chuck, our guide was very informative and we learned more about the history of the area and Kentucky Bourbon. Loved the Bourbon Cream and would definitely be interested in taking some... More

Absolutely beautiful place. The history and charm of this Frankfort Kentucky landmark is amazing. Take a walk around the grounds, stop by the gift shop for a taste of real Kentucky bourbon and then got to Gibby's in downtown Frankfort for a deliciously prepared lunch or dinner! P.S. Schedule a tour, if you're not afraid....it's supposedly haunted....
