Kentucky Lake is just a relaxing area. Waters clear most of the time. Several places you go to see the lake.

Year round the lake offers the best type of therapy, allowing you to escape all the chaos in the world and simply relaxing to the calm waters of Kentucky Lake. Whether you enjoy being on the lake or simply enjoy the view from the bank, it can definitely be considered a place of tranquility and peaceful environment.

We have now been to Kentucky Lake 3 of the 4 last summers, Usually a long weekend trip as we can get there in 3 hours. We took our 2.5 yo granddaughter this trip and we had a blast. There are actually several things to do in the area that entertained her. One day we rented a pontoon boat and... More

My wife and I don't fish and we don't own a boat. But we had to stop and see Kentucky Lake and Kentucky Dam while driving home to Chicago on I-24 following our vacation in Florida. It is a beautiful sight to see. Kentucky Lake, located near Gilbertsville, Kentucky, is a major navigable reservoir along the Tennessee River in Kentucky... More

My husband and I recently visited the Ky Lake area. We stayed near the dam. It is a beautiful area. We loved the scenic drives and views of the lake. We drove to the dam and parked and walked to the water. We also parked near the beach area and walked over some little bridges. We saw some fish and... More

I admit that I am a little biased since I grew up near Kentucky Lake. Kentucky lake offers a great deal of outdoor activities and beautiful scenery.

The lake is big a beautiful. We rented a pontoon boat and wondered around the lake. However, it was hot...not just hot but hard to breathe hot. The water was warm so not much relief.

Kentucky Lake is just gorgeous! It is so big, and there are cabins for rent and lots to see and do. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

I went to this lake on family vacations growing up and still go back today when I'm in the area. Very beautiful, yet can be busy. Rentals and recreation available. Lots of fun.

Rented a pontoon from the Kentucky damn village marina. KY lake is big and connects to lake Barkley. Water isn't clear like we are use to. Lake wasn't congested for a Friday .
