Took the tour and was entertained the entire time. Our tour guide was not only period appropriate, but extremely knowledgable and made the whole experience fun. The home and artifacts were very well kept up. Great experience and an enjoyable way to learn the plantation and the South's history. We enjoyed the experience so much, when family came to visit... Nicely preserved home and artifacts that are a great U.S. history lesson for adults and kids and the family story is an interesting tale. While the slave quarters were sobering, it is part of our history and worth seeing. Enjoyed the history lesson about early Americans and a early KY family.

We took the tour through the house and it was lovely. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. There is also a cute shop, from where you purchase tickets for the tour.

Waveband, a test of early Kentucky that you will enjoy seeing and hearing the history of the home and estate. Bring a picnic and enjoy the setting and beauty.

We visited this amazing place in September of 2016 Fantastic tour with a depth of information that you rarely find. Interesting connection to the Daniel Boone family. I would highly recommend this!

If you are a tourist then this should be a top priority, this is an under appreciated park that doesn't get as much attention as deserved.. Beautiful views and the house is just gorgeous and authentic to visit.. Highly recommend it!

I love this place. Guides were friendly and answered questions cheerfully. The house was once part of a plantation and several outbuilding survive including the slave quarters. Apparently the slaves here were fairly well treated. However the guides glossed over the fact that being a slave was pretty awful even if you were relatively well treated. Worth seeing if you're... Waveland was a plantation home and a horse farm with two race tracks. The tours are very good and gives you a good history of the house. The slave quarters are very different from others. Nice place to visit and get a history lesson.
