Fun, especially for tipplers

I went here with my wife and 3 other couples. Very friendly tour leader, opportunity to try both their beers and bourbons - all of which are tasty. Fun time.

We took a group of engineers to Alltech's Brewery and had a great experience. They were very responsive when scheduling the event and asked if we wanted to meet the master distiller. The followed us thru the tour and gave us very detailed information on every process.

I would highly recommend this even if you are not a person that consumes alcohol. This tour was like living an episode of Modern Marvels. The only thing I wish they would add would be a way to bus you over to the bottling plant. I would like to see that as well.

After 9 tours in three days, we were just a bit disoriented at Town Branch... with a focus on beer and bourbon/whiskey... and bourbon seemed to be a second thought, even given the heritage of bourbon in Kentucky. Interesting ~ but certainly hard to compare to the other 'bourbon' pure tours.

The tour consisted of the brewing side for their ale and then the distillery for their bourbon. everything was so clean and bright. We could have done without the brewery tour but it did not really take that much time. Their 2 large copper stills were pretty nice though.

Really liked the people at Town Branch (as it's known on the Bourbon Trail map) and it's the only stop on the trail that's both a distillery and a brewery, so you get both treats! Our guide was less knowledgeable about bourbon than the others we had come across at other distilleries but he was relaxed and friendly and we... More

Cindy, the tour guide was very good at her job. What fun she made the tour. I learned so much! And the spirits, what can I say except I had to buy some!

We enjoyed our time at Alltech on a sunny Saturday Fall afternoon. The facility is amazingly pristine, staff helpful and friendly, and the spirits are wonderful!

I found it more "corporate" than the tour of Beam and that is going some (note: compare this w/ my rating of Barrel House Distillery down the way). Our docent did a decent job (unfortunately our group was way too large and some were more interested in private discussions than actually paying attention. That coupled w/ the noise of the... More
