Experience why Kentucky is world famous! Our fun and informative horse farm...

Experience why Kentucky is world famous! Our fun and informative horse farm tours (approximately 3 hours in length) take you through the heart and soul of Kentucky's beautiful blue grass horse country. Drive by, see and hear the history of Calumet horse farm, home of a breeding and racing dynasty that dominated the sport of kings during the 1940s, 1950s and beyond. Step out and enjoy a walking tour of the ivy-covered grounds of historic Keeneland Race Course, home to the planet's most expensive horse auctions. Take a peek at the thoroughbred horse lifestyle as we take you behind the scenes to explore a premier thoroughbred horse farm and visit up close and personal with their famous horses. We'll even see where scenes from the major motion pictures Secretariat, Seabiscuit and Dreamer were filmed.

This is the best tour my wife and I have been on in Lexington yet. We come to Lexington Ky every year in mid September. This is the 2nd farm tour we have taken so far and it was the best one so. It is a 3 hour tour.what a way to really see what Lexington is really like. Our... More

To really understand what Lexington is all about , this tour tells the story of what makes this area so amazing ! The history of Thoroughbred horses and racing here in Kentucky is so unique, it is like no other place in the US. Our guide, Nicholas, has his own horse farm and told us of his duties and responsibilities... More

I am a horse racing fan and this was by far the best tour I have ever been on. Nick was our tour guide and his knowledge of the racing industry was second to none. Answered all our questions and gave us insights to the goings on of raising, training, and breeding horses. Plus interesting facts about the different farms... More

Our tour guide was Matt (son-in-law to the owner of the company) he was very knowledgeable about the horses, racing, and the farms. We toured Keeneland, and 3 horse farms. Amazing tour! We learned so much about the horses. We even got to pet a few! We highly recommend this tour.

We booked this tour on line after reading other good reviews. We had toyed with the idea of going on our own to one or two horse farms, or the Lexington Horse Park, but our time was limited. The Thoroughbred Heritage Tour with Larry was a great choice because we were exposed to several farms, while being chaperoned in a... More

Loved this tour with our guide, Larry. He's worked at the farms and had lots of interesting behind-the-scenes scoop, and of course was very knowledgeable about the horses. Managed to make everybody happy on our tour -- a group of about a dozen people..

The tour was very nice and the escort was very informative. We went to the race track and many farms with beautiful horses. The history of the different farms was very informative.

This was one of the best tours we have ever taken. They guide was fantastic in explaining the different points of interest. The interaction with the horses at the farm was great. Everyone in our group of ten had the same reaction. The tour was a full three hours plus. The guide kept our interest from the time he picked... More

I asked for horses from 9-12 and received 2 farm visits and Keenland from 830-12:30. My wife and I learned some history, visited amazing farms and horses all for a fair price. Nice to see private high touch businesses still exist. Don't worry call these guys anytime and you will enjoy the experience. Someday, I hope to read about the... More
