This is definitely worth the walk or drive to the downtown area. The pendulum swings with the rotation of the earth, which is amazing enough, but the library itself is impressive with 3-4 floors. It's well kept and clean. The librarians are very knowledgeable.

My family loves books, so the library was a must. Beautiful building even if you don't like books. Take the time to go to the top floor and see the view from the there!

We participated in a game the visitor's center of Lexington has made called "Big Lex". We learned our way around the city and it was fun. If you haven't ever seen one of these clocks it's sure worth the time to do so.

Based on other reviews, we were very excited to see the pendulum on our recent trip to Lexington. We walked into the atrium and it was not moving! The person at the information desk just said "I don't know why it isn't working." There was...More

Parking was a little tough but it was neat to see the clock. Only takes a few minutes to see. After you check out the clock, take the elevator up to the 4th flour and look down at the pendulum. Also worth a look at...More

The clock is amazing and interesting for children and adults alike. There is a great little cafe on the ground floor and an outside courtyard to enjoy coffee, a salad or sandwich. The children's floor is pretty cool...lots of windows, space and enjoyment. If you...More
