I read about this on TripAdvisor when planning a family roadtrip to Nashville and thought it sounded like a fun stopping/rest point. Well my 9 and 7 year old kids LOVED it. This was easy to find with adjacent inexpensive meter parking. The park was well maintained and beautiful and the statues were unique. The kids loved pretending to be... More

Small area at an intersection. The horse statues are the reason to visit here, really nice chance for a picture or just drive by and see the horse statues. Worth a visit if you're in the area .

we always take visitors to this very unusual sculpture park - you are right next to a horse that is going 30 MPH! And the plaques that line the walks are full of fascinating information about people who have been leaders in the horse industry. Some unexpected names as well as some that are famous among only a few -... More

If you like horses and the history of thoroughbreds in this area, come to this park. There are so many plaques about historical figures that you can spend quit some time reading them. Then there is the reflecting pond and the amazing life-sized sculptures of horses racing. This is a suitable recognition for the industry that has made Lexington famous.... More

Just a quick park of artwork to see as you pass thru the area. Statues are truly a work of art. Lifesize and lifelike!

Beautiful palce in downtown Lexington. Not much to see beside a few horse sculptures. Nice to spend 10 to 20 minutes...

Beautiful scenery, I enjoyed the peaceful walk around the park. It's a must see. And there are several pieces of history to read about certain individuals in out history.

The traffic was bad and parking limited to actually get out of our car to see the park. We were able to circle the area and view the statues. The craftmanship of the statues is beautiful.

I enjoyed the peaceful walk around Thoroughbred Park. It was interesting reading the memorial tributes to those who made, Lexington, The Horse Capital of the World.
