the Kentucky Theatre in downtown Lexington is a gem. If you go for a show in the evening you may be lucky enough to hear the Wurlitzer organ being played. Lots of time, sweat, and blood has gone into renovating this theatre and the organ....More

My wife and I see movies here every now and then. The ticket prices are a little less than other area theaters. Concessions are also much cheaper. The theaters are large, no stadium seating of course, but it doesn't matter because there is plenty of...More

I have been a few times in the past to see movies. It is okay for movies, but where it really shines is as a music venue. I have been to a few Woodsongs Old Radio Hour (Which are Amazing!) and I saw a Punch...More

Great Atmoshpere! They are always playing indie movies or old classics. They even play live UK games on the big screen!

If you can attend a production here, do so. It is beautiful inside the way grand theaters used to be.

The Kentucky is the best place around to watch a movie. It's totally elegant and wonderful, you can't hear another movie playing while you watch yours, and it is hands down the best popcorn in town. The classic movie series is fun, too.
