Forget about the boring highways we have in PA. This lovely Parkway is gorgeous. We took it from Lexington to Bardstown, had lunch and then continued to the Loretto Motherhouse I Nerinx and Maker's Mark. Minimal traffic, 70 mph speed limit but you won't want to go that fast because it is so relaxing and beautiful. ENjoy

Took this encounter to different distilleries. A beautiful drive. See some horse farms, rolling hills, and green, lush country.

Although it is just a highway, it was very lovely in spring. We drove past fields of gorgeous yellow flowers, blooming dogwoods and red buds, as well as large rolling pastures and horse farms. The scene was very pastoral. There were lots of signs for distilleries along the way, but no billboards. The services were limited and there are no... More

Like much of our highway infrastructure, this road could use some work. But on a sunny springtime day, the countryside was lovely.

I used this roadway for over 20 years. It is well maintained and runs through idyllic rolling hills. Crossing the Cumberland Plateau in the spring or fall is a sight for sore eyes. I could always make good time on this road and never once was stopped by law enforcement.

It's a good road to drive; HOWEVER, get your gas, food, restrooms, etc., before you get on it, whether that be in Lexington or Elizabethtown. Very difficult to determine where to exit on the Parkway for these items(and there are no rest stops), as there is next to no signage, and the businesses, for the most part, are not within... More

If you want a nice drive without too much traffic, nice scenery, no billboards, etc., then Blue Grass is perfect! Make sure you have gas in the tank, as filling stations are few!

This is a beautiful highway wandering through the rolling countryside of Kentucky. There were no trucks so traffic moved easily.

Decent road leading thru some of the back areas of KY. There are sites to be seen off the parkway, but it's nice just getting a sense for the landscapes of this area of middle Kentucky and seeing life at a slower pace. Pleasant driving overall, but beware of tourists and tractors occasionally entering/exiting the road.

I wasn't impressed. Maybe it's the time of year we went. I'm sure it's very pretty in the fall. We were only on it for about 20 miles
