It was worth the time and money to visit this place between the races we had time to view this museum and really enjoyed ourselves. So much history and so entertaining.

Great advice! The exhibit is open through December so the clock is ticking for Pharoah fans! Or phans, we should say!

How can you go to Louisville and not see Churchill Downs, home of the Granddaddy of horse racing? Admission includes a guided tour of the grandstands and interesting history and trivia, as well as the museum itself. Guide books say to count on 30 minutes...More

This was an eye opening experience for me. Obviously a lot goes into these yearly events, but to have a chance to get behind the scenes is great! Definitely a must do...please take the tour, even if it's short. Loved it!
