Love this zoo. They are working on making the exhibits more natural so there is construction but it is for the better of the animals. There are educational demonstrations through out the day at different locations. There is also a nice small water park to cool off in. This visit was during the fall so it was closed.

Had a bonus February day, 67 degrees! Very nice habitats for animals, the Alaska exhibit is excellent. Good cats, very nice gorilla habitat, in and out doors. Very clean and the animals appear to be well taken care of.

I thought this would be a quick one, but we spent a couple hours here on a warm day in January. Smaller exhibits, but lots of them. They really fit a lot into the area. If you like Zoo's, make this a stop.

We attended one of the breakfast programs for kids to learn about the animals. Very informative and lots of fun.

The zoo in Louisville is small but there is plenty to see. Also, they have many special events throughout the year (Halloween Party, Santa's Safari, Brew at the Zoo) that are very fun. Definitely pack your own snacks or lunches to save money (like any park, food is overpriced).

I came here with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of animals, the order and beauty of the exhibits, and the layout of the park, in general. It was very pleasant and comfortable, and we got to see all the animals we wanted to see!

I was a member of the Louisville Zoo for years when my kids were young, but haven't been since the fall. Every Halloween they have a cool little party for younger kids. It's a pretty nice zoo. The areas are clean and safe. There is a merry go round, a couple of restaurants, a gift shop, and a new play... More

I have a family membership to the Louisville Zoo and its an excellent value. If you have young children you are very close to paying for a membership if you visit twice in a year. If you have young kids they'll enjoy the summer splash park. The train is a great ride and my kids like the ape exhibit the... More
