Fun to walk at night when the bridge is lighted

Balmy breezes move against you as you walk from Louisville across the Ohio River to Jefferon Indiana and back! Nice family activity. Worth doing.

Have walked on this bridge several times, most recently with sons and husband when oldest son in for visit from Texas. This was march 2017. Conveniently located downtown Jeff with easy access. Distance is good for a family walk. One mile each way

Lovely walk over the Ohio River on rennovated bridge that is easy , pleasant and lovely day or night.I have walked this bridge several times and always return when in town. It is a great walk with great scenery - even music playing in the middle of the bridge. There are restaurants to visit on both the Kentucky and Indiana... More

The pedestrian bridge was one of my biggest highlights in Louisville! The lit bridge at night and the colors, wow, definitely a must do!

This is a nice easy activity for anyone. Have walked leisurely across bridge and had a snack on the other side. Lots of little options on the IN side. Ample parking close by and it's free!!!!

Parking is right next to the beginning of the bridge ramp, lots of families enjoy this outdoor activity. Watch out for bicycle riders.... they zoom some times to close for comfort. I enjoy the views and the exercises very much.

We were able to quickly find a parking place on a busy spring weekend. The walk is long but easy and was very popular. A real slice of Americana with many people of all ages enjoying the sunshine. Great views and interesting history--but pretty crowded.

What a great way to get a look at the river and surrounding area! We went as a family, ages 3-86 and thoroughly enjoyed it!
