ThIs hawkwalk is an amazing experience involving several different birds of prey. I'd never seen these birds so close up and to have them glide silently and speedily towards me was stunning. I visited with my sister who had been given a voucher as a gift, the the owners went above and beyond to welcome us and show us round,... More

We were staying at Le Manior and they were able to arrange for Clive and Harvey to come to the manor and provide the experience there on site. We had arranged this as a surprise for our friends and we all enjoyed it so much. Clive was so informative and being able to get up close and hold the birds... More

What a great addition to the garden centre regularly take my toddler up to see the fantastic selection of birds of prey. Clive and/or Jane are always on hand to welcome us in and tell us about the birds and educate my little one who loves going up there. Have previously bought a hawk walk for the father in law... I live locally and visit the garden centre fairly frequently, every time we pop in to see the animals. It is free however who could go and enjoy such marvellous animals without making a small donation. They are kept in amazing condition and obviously loved like pets.

We decided to go and see some of these magnificent birds of prey, but didn't expect to get so close to them. Clive, who runs the centre with his wife Jayne has over 30 years of experience and their devotion to these wonderful creatures is clear. To actually touch a barn owl and see the colours of it's feathers, or... More

We found this great birds of prey centre behind theMill View nursery. It's not very big but we walked round and the owner spent about 15 minutes talking to us about all the birds and we discussed wider nature issues. There was a birthday party for some enthusiastic youngsters but she still found time to talk to us. A great... More

A friend and I had "Hawk Walk" vouchers as a gift but the experience we got was far more than that. Clive and his wife were very happy and keen to show us everything they do to look after the birds they own. Many of the birds have been rescued and have a sorry tale to tell but through constant... We made a late booking to come in to see the birds one morning in January and we were very worried that the birds might not be able to fly due to the lack of wind and presence of fog. However, Clive and Jayne were confident that some of the birds would be up for handling. We were able to... More

One of the activities suggested by our hotel was a Birds of Prey Experience and I decided to give it a try, as it was quite unique. This may have been the highlight of our trip. They came to our hotel, Le Manoir, with owls, Harris hawks and a variety of other birds. First they showed us them to us,... More
