We often take long weekends and travel to different wineries. We had gone to Huber Winery and were on our way to Elk Creek when we saw a sign for this winery. We had never been and always willing to try a different one. It's pretty off the beaten path. My boyfriend was getting a little frustrated because he thought... More

We love this place! The food is home cooked and always great. Chuck is a fabulous host. The kids love to play on the hay bales. The music is usually good and you can dance! The wine is not very good, unfortunately.

We love this place! Every time we go, we have a wonderful experience. Katie did not disappoint yesterday -- she was fun and friendly and a hoot to chat with! Nice variety of wines -- no matter what your taste. We always come away with at least one bottle -- yesterday we got 3! Nice outdoor area for sitting and... More

This was my first visit to the Smith-Berry winery, and my first time to try their wines. The spot is not too far off the interstate, a lovely drive in rolling hills of Kentucky. The tasting room is small, but attractive and the outdoor seating area was very inviting. The owner was manning the tasting room and he was friendly,... More

Smith Berry is a rural winery easily accessible from two interstates. The tasting room is kinda small, but the service is friendly and the wines are nice. Also has an event venue for weddings and such.

we arrived a bit early and the owner, Chuck, met us outside and asked patience and offered us free rein of the grounds.. Beautiful place!!! Hoping to head back in August!

My wife and I visited on the way back from French Lick, and made it a point to stop in at Smith-Berry. We have had their wines, and had visited a few years ago, but we don't get down that way too often. We really enjoyed our visit. Chuck they owner and wine maker was engaging, the tasting room hostess... More

Smith Berry has a tiny little tasting room but that's part of its charm. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We got there early on Sunday before they opened; the owner came out and spoke to us and said he was sorry, a local ordinance prevented him from letting us in early -- but no worries, we enjoyed a warm welcome... We visited the winery after seeing the sign on the interstate. We were 300 miles into our 800 miles trip and decided it would be a good time AND a good reason to stop. It took a while to get there but it is a beautiful farm setting. They had nice outside seating areas around the tasting room. The tasting... More

The tickets include a BBQ buffet (soft drinks and desserts also) and a concert. . Bottles of their signature wine are available to purchase. Recommended to bring a table and chairs. Enjoy a relaxing stroll among the vineyards. A lovely setting in the countryside. Check their website for concert schedules. Highly Recommended
