During our short visit to Paducah to see the Quilt Museum, we wandered over to the arts area to see some galleries, and wound up at this collection of wall paintings, drawn towards the river by the pictures we saw in the distance. We started at the train, which meant that we went backwards chronologically through history, but that didn't... More

Walking along the floodwall and watching our grandchildrens amazement at the pictures was a memory we will remember with them forever and it was also a history lesson.

We were directed to this location by a clerk from where we were lodging and we were so pleased to find how beautiful the area was. The murals are breath taking and every where you turned you learned a little more about this towns history. We will be returning this summer and can't wait to visit the area once more.

Very interesting mural along the river. A must see in Paducah. Close to all the shops and river access is close by.

This is a must see when in Paducah! Beautiful talented artwork of the history of Paducah and their achievements, disasters, commerce, growth and culture. We did not even mind the cold weather on a January day to walk and be able to view these unbelievable murals. Fabulous and each with their history description in bronze at each mural. What a... The murals are a well done historical pictorial of the Paducah area. Each mural is accompanied by an information plaque explaining the picture. You see a lot of these covering the flood walls of cities through out the Mississippi watershed. But they have done a nice job of actually explaining what you are looking at.

Very cool to learn a bit of history about the town. Old train for kids to climb on. The mural were a great walk after dinner too, and the museum and galleries were close by as well. Convenient location.

These out door paintings show historical scenes of western Kentucky. They remind me of paintings that are seen in small towns and villages in Germany and other parts of Europe. Very well done, at a bigger than life size scale, these wall murals make the Paducah flood wall a destination worth taking time for.
