We were running a little late but hoping to get to the natural bridge in time to catch the best light for pictures. We stopped in the lodge for information and decided to ask if they still had rooms available. They did and thank heaven we stayed. Although some might consider it dated the lodge has been maintained beautifully and... More

Really beautiful park with such well kept walking trails. Visited over Thanksgiving and the weather was perfect for hiking, not too hot and not too cold. The trails here are well kept and a fairly easy walk. Of course there are stairs but the park maintains lots of places to sit along the way and they are covered which is... More

Few people brave the cooler months at Natural Bridge. You'll find amazing exposed rock formations hidden by the foliage during the other seasons. This is a special place to visit year round if you love the outdoors.

Wife, boys and I hiked the Original Trail up to the Natural Bridge Arch. Beautiful view from the top of the arch. We hiked down the Balanced Rock Trail as recommended. I wouldn't recommend hiking the trails the other way around as the Balanced Rock Trail is very steep. Both trails were 3/4 mile long.

I wasn't sure where to park so I drove up and parked in the gift shop lot. I think the lower lot is much more convenient to the trails unless you are taking the skylift to the top. I didn't have a map and ended up getting one from someone once I reached the Lookout. Bad photocopies of the map... More

Amazing hike. Strenuous to walk to the top. Can take the skylift up annd hike down if your prefer. Views are amazing and the Devil's gorge trail is a great one to take back down.

The lodge has basic but complete rooms and an attached restaurant. This park in is the Daniel Boone National Forest and close to all scenic areas and hiking trails. We were here for three days and also visited the town of Winchester near by.

What a wonderful place to spend a few hours hiking. The views and trails are spectacular! We started at the Lakeside Trail parking lot. From there we started on the Original trail but quickly took the Battleship trail up to Needle's Eye and over to Lover's Leap. From there we back tracked past Needle's Eye and on to Lookout Point...
