There's nothing like a water park for a hot Louisiana day, and this one is especially refreshing, not only for the heat relief offered by its wave pool, raft ride and slides, but also for its noncommercial, friendly atmosphere.

This place was nice when it first opened. Not now. The water is dirty and doesn't even feel safe to get in. The season pass is reasonable but everything else is expensive and you have to buy from there. The rides don't seem maintained, either. So they don't feel safe any more

I don't enjoy getting a tan, but m grandchildren loves this park I buy season tickets for them. They can go as much as the like and it's fun for kids..

I purchased season passes for my daughter and nephew; they went three times. The waterpark did close briefly due to the "Great Flood of 2016", however, it was super hot amongst other reasons we did not go as much as we'd hoped. Further, when I initially purchased my ticket, I was glad to get the 2nd day pass (have to... More

Primitively at best. Over priced on everything. If you have been anywhere else like six flags or schlitterbaun then this place will bore you to sleep. Kids run ramped unsupervised, no respect for anyone. Long lines and minimal rides. Disappointing when you get to the end of the ride and realize that you waited that long for absolutely nothing. Save... More

It was a little old but the kids loved the area for small children only. We arrived early so we also got to do a lot before it got busy. If you are expecting the newest accommodations and amenities you will be disappointed. We liked it because it felt smaller and more like locals place.

The park can get a little crowded but is a blast! We typically show up shortly after the park opens to avoid the lines.

Parking is limited without a long walk. Traffic is also tuff at opening or close. Took Coke cans to get $5.00 off each ticket price wich was a big discount. There was lots of sign in and out of park stating the park rules. There were sherrifs deputies in the park for security. Lots of life guards on duty, they... More

Blue Bayou is run down and filthy. The lifeguard even when alerted by whistle that my three year old son was coming down a slide and would need assistance did not get off her chair to assist. My husband had to jump in to get him out of the water. There was mold on the stale nachos and the popcorn... More

I've driven past this waterpark for years and never stopped in. I figured that it'd be packed, and it's a 2-2.5 hour drive from where I live. Having finally gone (a local bucket list thing), I only wish I'd done it sooner. No too crowded (on a weekday), slides galore, the laziest of rivers to bob on, a huge kiddie... More

Great time, water park was a blast, fun group rides, short weekday lines, the roller coast side was fun too. Food was reasonably priced, lots of shade. Bring coke cans and save $5 per person. Grab a family locker, very convenient. Enjoy
