The state archives stores items of all sorts that are associated with Louisiana. Unfortunately, most of those things are stored somewhere "in the back". There are always displays of various memorabilia for one to see and often art shows covering a particular theme. Good place...More

It is amazing the documents and history stored in this building. Under the supervision of Dr. Hardy the organization has contributed greatly to the preservation of important documents for the state of Louisiana. To see and understand the caretaking is worth a visit
