Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We took a boat and went to this natural pool.

It was a very nice experience and the view is amazing, but then when lots of people start coming it is not that nice.

I was also very pissed at people holding the turtles for photos, they were clearly harassing the poor turtles.

We do not regret to take the boat as we saw some people saying that the hiking is bit hard to reach there.

Try to reduce at least some reais on the price of boats, we managed to pay 50 for 2 people.

Getting there is an adventure on its own... there is a bit of walking via a narrow path through a muddy path between the trees as well as on the beach. The pools are well protected by rocks and the whole scenery around is very pretty. It's nice relaxing but the waters there or enjoying the sun on the rocks. Worth the walk!

we were so looking forward to swim and snorkel in this place....we were terribly disappointed. First of all the boat charged quite a lot to take the four of us on a 10 minute ride to Caixa dAço. You can walk there along two beaches and across the morros on two interesting trails. But we took the boat, only to arrive at a place crowded with tourists, the water was murky and there wasn't a single fish in sight. Trust me I've snorkeled in a lot of places, this was awful

We were quite disappointed with our visit here. Walk through the forest was nice and easy enough and the pools were pretty. However, they were massively overcrowded and filled with lots of people drinking beers and smoking cigarettes which ruins the natural beauty of the place! We left quite quickly and went back to Cachadoca beach which was much nicer!

A place to visit. Very nice between jungle montains and nice beaches. The water is real transparent and you are swimming between the fish.

on the weekend it's so busy that is not enjoyable. it's better to go during the week to enjoy it. there are taxi boat that brings you there for 5 reaes, but it's nicer to walk, cause the path is in the jungle and it's very nice. a lot of people walk there barefoot ore with flip flops.

Lovely setting and sheltered so good for swimming unfortunately there is not really any where to leave your belongings so travel light! You also have to walk through the jungle to ge there so it takes about20 minutes so if with children just be prepared. The path is well trodden though so not to difficult. Wet aye do for about 20 Minutes and if really sunny there is little shade so take your sun screen!
