This is a working organic coffee plantation in the Antigua area. There is a music museum that was quite interesting and then a tour of the plantation workings. We were able to watch the roasting progress and sample coffee beans and coffee afterwards. There is...More

We enjoyed both the coffee museum as well as the textile and music museums. The setting is beautiful and tranquil. We did almost all of our souvenir shopping as well. There are two shops. Both are well stocked and the prices are low. It was...More

I almost don't want to review because this place seems to be off the beaten path and is still quiet and quaint. But, to support such a magical place, here it goes. La Azotea is northwest of Antigua in nearby Jocotenango, a 5-10 minute Tuk-Tuk...More

The coffee tour at this beautifully presented location is outstanding. There are 2 other presentations on textiles and Mayan music. Highly recommended. Take a tuc-tuc as it is not that easy to find, but you can walk back.

Very cool working finca. It's a working coffee plantation but I learned lots about coffee production, etc. Just a short bus ride from Antigua.

I (wrongly) assumed that on our trip to La Azotea, which our tour guide described as a "coffee plantation", we would simply see how the coffee plants were grown, coffee beans picked, sorted and packaged. Boy, was I in for a surprise! This is not...More

La Azotea Cultural Center is really 3 or 4 things in one. Indoors, there is Casa K'ojom, a museum with exhibits dedicated to the history of Mayan musical instruments and their function in the life, spirituality and culture of the Maya. There is also Rincón...More
