Pricey like most gift shops

Cozy atmosphere with knowledgeable employees. The souvenirs are a bit pricey but it is nice to just browse around.

It took 6 years for the current owners to wade through paperwork to certify the site as a museum, so now nothing about it can be changed. The firm's 14 employees do everything today as it was done in years gone by. While there is machinery to process the grains to remove the bran, etc., much is still done manually.... More

This tour was the first tour of a rice mill we had experienced. It was thorough, interesting, and complete with a short video and rice tasting.

The back story is really great and the tour is very informative. the pecan rice is also very good, ya gotta try some. there are no pecans in the rice, it's just what they call it. If you can go; GO!!

Konriko holds much history in New Iberia, the country store has so many things to see. It is definitely a place to visit if you are new to the area, or visiting from out of town.

Go here. We took this tour and learned so much about rice and how it was produced. This is the oldest rice meal on the USA. Over 104 years old. Great video on Acadian Culture. Take your family or go by yourself. Loved it.

The products were intersting but nothing was going on at the mill. It however is on the national historical registry. There is a cost of 4.00 a person and don't know if I would recommend it. The lady at the store was very nice and there were cute cats in the mill.

This was an Interesting place to visit. Something different that you don't normally get to do. The store was awesome! I bought a lot of their products and have tried most of them now that I'm home and they are delicious. I will order more in the future. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The tour is inexpensive and... More

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the rice industry in Louisiana. The film was informative. I would have liked to have seen the factory in action, but there were no trucks arriving on this hot day.
