My wife and I visited the Myrtles and stayed in the General Bradford Suite on the 1st floor (it is accessible without climbing steps). St Francisville is a nice, quiet friendly town, and the Myrtles Plantation had very nice folks to chat with. The ghost tour was fun. Walking around the plantation was enjoyable and relaxing. If you are looking for a wild time, this is probably not the place for you. If you are looking to getaway and relax with nice folks, I recommend it.

I recently stayed in the Crepe Myrtles Cottage with my sister and Aunt for a girls weekend. We took the Evening Mystery Tour, roamed the grounds, and ate at the 1796 restaurant. We had such a fun time. Would highly recommend The Myrtles for a fun getaway rich with history and folklore

Stayed for a 1 night stopover on our journey south and was definitely worth it. The home and the history of the property was absolutely fascinating. We took the evening and the day tours, both tour guides were so knowledgeable. We also had a fantastic meal in the on-site restaurant. The Myrtles is easily the prettiest place I’ve ever seen.

My best friend and I went on the Mystery Tour together. We had a fabulous time!! The tour guide, Sharon, was very knowledgeable. The Myrtles Plantation is just beautiful. We actually witnessed some paranormal activity too. I also caught two ghost on camera too!! Very fun and spooky activity for Halloween!! Would highly recommend!!

My family decided to take a history tour on Halloween to start the spooky day off! I homeschol my kids, 6th and 4th grade, and this was an incredible history lesson! My 4th grader is now excited to start her historical essay on the Myrtle's! Shannon was incredible and took the time to give us the most memorable tour possible. She went above and beyond! My girls have raved about this experience to everyone! If you are a homeschool parent, I HIGHLY recommend the history tour for your family!

This place was steeped in history and we only heard a small part of it. It was amazing to hear and see all the artifacts from that time period. The additional smell of roses when your outside and not see a rose bush in site was nice feature.

I brought my daughter to stay the night at The Myrtles to celebrate her 13th birthday. She talked me into renting what's known as "the doll room." Very creepy room with four dolls on the mantel, one that is referred to as "Sinister Sally," which I personally found the most disturbing. Aside from that, the room was lovely. We attended both the day and night tours, which were very interesting. Though we didn't experience anything supernatural, we had a really great time and slept very well. It's definitely a great experience!

The grounds are lovely and oldest part of the house appears authentic. Antiques and relics are beautifully presented. The legend of Chloe and her owners sounds plausible; nonetheless tragic for all involved. Our guide was excellent. I recommend if one wants to leave a gratuity, hand it directly to your guide.

They were very accommodating for our large group of 150+ students. We went in shift to tour the house, had full access to the property and even had a nice place to sit and eat lunch on the property. I would highly suggest taking your group to the Myrtles if ever given the chance

Wonderful experience. Our tour guide Rainy Day, yes that's her name, was absolutely the best. We brought our 10 year old granddaughter who was fascinated by the "ghost stories" about the house. The tour did not disappoint. Rainey discussed most of the history of the house and all who lived there. She kept it informative and interesting. Can't wait to spend the night in one of the upstairs bedrooms. The grounds are beautiful.
