I frequent Hemingbough regularly and everytime I am a little more and more amazed. The space is very beautiful and it is so well artfully pieced together. I am able to take many beautiful photographs here of the coliseum style open arena amphitheater, the gazebo, the fountain, the garden maze, and even the peacocks. Hemingbough is truly an inspirational place... More

A must for any visitor in the area. If you are looking for a retteat to just get away for the noise and rest in a nature-filled atmosphere, this is the spot for you. A healing and calming world to escape for a day or a week. Also, the antiques and landscape (a beautiful lake) are breathtaking any time of... More

I came here for a photo shoot and the scenery is beautiful. They also have cabins to rent. I once came here for a wedding and as expected everything was top notch.

This place is free to enter and you can drive through and see most of the sites. It is especially beautiful in the Spring when all the flowers are in bloom. It's a popular place for weddings, and they always have an Easter Sunrise Service which I hear is Beautiful.

During a crisis point in my life recently, I somehow found myself at the entrance of Hemingbough. There, peace, natural beauty, quiet, and the kindest staff helped me begin the healing process. I can't thank them enough for their many kindnesses! I stopped by again yesterday to picnic with a friend and to enjoy the peacocks' and guineas' frolicking. Having... More

This place is nearly impossible to describe... the natural beauty surrounds structures, buildings, a gazebo and even an amphitheater all co-existing in beautiful harmony. For photographers, it's a must see in late March, early April when the azaleas explode in fantastic colors and surround the reflecting pond with the fountain... it's amazing. The peacocks that wander freely on the grounds... More

Beautiful gardens and grounds unlike any attraction in LA. You would think you're somewhere in the middle of Tennessee.

Hemingbough is a place to get away from the hectic life of city living. Quiet, and serene over looking the lake while walking the grounds. Concerts are scheduled there at different times of the year, as well as special occasions ( wedding receptions, birthday parties, etc. ) Places to rent for the week, or weekend available. Great place to go... More
