This place looked nothing much from outside but was surprisingly interesting once inside. History of the town and quite a bit about slavery made it a pleasant visit.

One of the few places we recommend to see in this small, pretty town. Allow at least an hour and be prepared to be educated about the area. Well worth it.

This is a small but interesting place to visit. Basically only a large room but filled with interesting objects and historical items. The staff are good and take pride in their southern hospitality. It wont take long but worth a visit.

This small town is rich in history and this is one of the small museums I have ever visited. If you begin here, what you see throughout the community will mean more.

The parish has a fascinating history, in which the river is a major feature. The museum has many exhibits to examine, very attractive and informative. You'll get more from strolling around this beautiful town if you visit this museum first to learn about it.
