As I said on my previous review this place is magical. The Treehouse is looking wonderful for those who do not mind being on high!! Adam took the two day bowl making course for Sandie and to say she enjoyed herself is an understatement! The course is expensive but she was lucky enough to have one on one tuition and... More

This was our 25th wedding anniversary trip and from start to finish the experience was wonderful. Guy is in touch from the moment you book until the arrival day and along with Adam was also on site. The site itself is magical! set in the heart of woodland it is very private and the accommodation is 1st class. You do... More

Simply had a great day!!! Great tuition from Adam, who explained things really well, and struck the perfect balance of being there to help when help was needed but also stood back to let us get on with it. Great location hidden away deep in the woods - quite magical. Great spatula and shrink pot (in my immodest opinion!). Can't... More

Yes, really fabulous weekend spent camping and a whole day doing the green woodworking workshop. There were 4 of us making spatulas in the morning and another item of our choice in the afternoon. We were given very interesting info about the various types of wood used and how the wood is chosen, etc. We designed our spatula, then used... More

I'm pretty sure that the world be a better place if everyone could experience a visit at Guy's woodland workshop and camping. I did the 5 day chair making course and left completely renewed and very inspired! I have nothing but positive things to say about the whole experience. If you're thinking about it DO IT.

Before we came to Guy's woodland workshop I had never heard of a shrinkpot. Nor a shavehorse, a drawknife, nor a rabbet for that matter. As far as woodworking was concerned, I was as green as they come. But after only a couple of hours in Adam and Guy's capable hands, i had created a rather beautiful little shrinkpot (to... More

We enjoyed four relaxing nights glamping in a Bell tent. Great to get back to nature (with luxurious woodland shower and woodland kitchen if desired) cooking each evening on the firepit in front of the large pond watching the dragonflies darting around in the dappled light! Very friendly, chilled setting with touches of luxury eg toiletries and breakfast provided. All... More

We completed the 2hr whittling and 1 day green wood working courses during our stay and they were fantastic. Nicely structured, well managed, good safe environment and a lot of fun while meeting new friendly people. We will be going back again

This was an such an absorbing day and so enjoyable! To work with green wood and actually make it into something useful was very satisfying! We were novices but it didn't matter and the whole day was informative and fun. I was like a child at the end of the day and wanted to show everyone my spatula and priest.... More

We had a fantastic, relaxing week here. Just what we need to get away from work. We couldn't have asked for a better location or accommodation - coracle was amazing and so was the tree shower!
