Neon light covered

Old metal bridge that they covered with neon lights and mostly non working laser lights. Casinos and bars all nearby, Narrow lanes to drive across. Not much to say about it really.

I've never walked across the bridge, although have thought about it several times since it links the two gambling districts with their casinos and restaurants. The bridge glows at night with neon lights, casting a colorful shadow on the river below. Plaques note that it was built during the Great Depression. When it opened in 1933 it became the first... The bridge is a walking bridge as well as driving over it. At night it has a nice view of the boardwalk and casinos. It is an old bridge and narrow, but a part of history in this town. You can also park and walk UNDERNEATH e bridge where Shreveport is doing a lot to revitalize. It is filled with... More

You can cross from Shreveport in Caddo Parish to Bossier City in Bossier Parish in a short span of time. The trip is an easy one.

This bridge has always been a joke in Shreveport. First of all, the road itself is awful, as are most in Shreveport. Infrastructure in this town has never been a priority to any Mayor. The lights were originally supposed to, well work! But there was a laser light that was supposed to shoot down the bridge (blinding drivers I guess?... More

This neon bridge is simply a narrow four-laned highway entering Shreveport via US Highway 80. Most of the lights don't work and never have. You can even walk across it in a protected pedestrian area.

You can't miss it. It is in the middle of downtown Shreveport. It joins Shreveport and Bossier City. Pretty historical bridge.

Definitely worth a trip downtown to see/drive over this beautiful bridge that crosses the Red River...truly a RED river.. At one end of downtown is the beautiful 1st Methodist Church, the other end is the Texas Street Bridge.

As a stranger and not a local here, I'd say you can't miss it, as in its right in the middle of downtown...but I can't say it's that big of a deal!!!

This iconic bridge joins new distinct communities--Bossier City and Shreveport. the life under the bridge is electric! Shopping, restaurants, nightlife, casinos! Busy! The bridge is not so used since I-20 is the main thoroughfare. It does have a pretty view at night
