We have taken the grandbabies two years in a row and plan to go again. Lots of fun and kids love it. Get your ticket the day before for no line. You have to water a life jacket so bring your own. The experience depends on the guide so that's a toss up. Go early if in summer and maybe... More

We met some family in New Orleans. This Swamp Tour was recommended by the hotel concierge. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. The good: priced good since they pick you up and deliver you from most hotels in New Orleans. Well organized check-in process. The guide we had, Jules, was full of knowledge and wit. He was an excellent... More

Was a cold and windy day so perfect for sitting in a tour bus listening to loads of interesting information about New Orleans. We got to see lots of places that we will revisit on our own time. The explanation at the cemetery about the burial process was fabulous and gosh did we learn some stuff. Definitely recommend.

It was unfortunately a wet, cold and rainy day that we went. We didn't get to see very much but it was still scenic and beautiful. Guide tried really hard to be cheery and friendly despite the cold weather and everyone looked cold and miserable. We didn't get to see any alligators but some small animals around. Overall, still enjoyed... More

Went on the tour today with captain Allen. Weather was perfect, scenery awesome, and al was very informative. Didn't see gators but its not the season for that. We saw wild pigs, and got to feed them marshmallows. Would do this again in the summer to see more wildlife. Great time

The Honey Island swamp tour was well worth the long bus drive. The company did a wonderful job of a seamless pick from our hotel to hopping in our boat. Our tour guide through the swamp, Capt. Al was extremely knowledgeable and we really enjoy his witty sense of humor. He really worked hard at getting us back in the... More

There are several Swamp tours with the same name apparently. But the one on trip advisor was the best. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and well prepared to lure the wild boar, and red tailed raccoons out to see us. He went around and around trying to sneak close to blue herons for our photo opportunities. We never regretted that... More

I was in New Orleans with a group to celebrate a friend's birthday. We took this tour on a Saturday. We took the shuttle from Cajun Encounters which picked us up at our hotel. It's a 45 minute ride out to Slidell from the French Quarter. Our bus driver Alligator Mike was friendly and very informative on our drive out.... More
