A 3 hour round trip, including a 90 minute visit to Inchcolm Island with its beautiful abbey. One of the best preserved 12th century abbeys in the country. We saw seals, seabirds and got a great view of the new Forth Road Bridge. Excellent value.

Day out with friends and we were not disappointed. Boat was busy with visitors from all over the world, and some locals too. Trip Highly informative, views were amazing, and local seals basking in the sun added to the occasion. Would definitely recommend locals to get on board and enjoy this great boat trip.

This was a fun and very educational trip under the bridges and around the Firth of Forth, and on to Inchcolm Island. The guide, Scott, was informative and helpful. Perfect weather added to the delightful short excursion. We saw seals, an offshore oil platform, three huge bridges across the Forth (one in the process of being built), and many ships... More

We had a great journey traveling with our little boy. It was fun to seat back watch the sea and of course with new questions in his head. In the Ireland he had fun to walk. But I would say you need to hold their hands all the time and the kids just don't run around. It was a great... More

Thank you for your review .I am glad you all had a good time and i'm sure the little one had lots of new questions for you ! We would agree that young children need to be kept hold of in some areas of the island and abbey (as well as the boat ) but other areas like the grassy... More

It took us about half an hour to get to Inchcolm Island for our hour and a half stop off. There were quite a few seals basking on the rocks so we slowed down to allow people to take some photos. We had a good wander around the island with the dogs although they are only allowed off lead at... More

We had a wonderful trip on The Maid of the Forth with our son for his 30th birthday on August 24th. It was a beautiful sunny day and the captain gave an interesting commentary, going very slowly round the rocks and buoys where the grey seals basked. We had almost 2 hours on the unspoilt Isle of Inchcolm and then... More

We went on this trip on the 18/8/16 , it was really good value the crew of the Maid of the Forth were very informative and friendly . When we saw the abbey as we approached we thought that 90 minutes on the island might drag a bit , but in the end the 90 minutes was only just enough.... More
