First week of fall. A beautiful day made for the experience to me wonderful. SO many shops that mixed vintage with modern. My son may be going to college in Brunswick and we will spend a lot of time on Maine St.

Nice downtown, close to Bowdoin College. Nice neighborhoods to stroll through nearby. Some nice shops (great ice cream parlour) and a nearby cinema.

This Maine street has surprising variety for such a small town. I recommend the natural food store. Also the Local Food store has nice cheese samplers, cured meats, and breads that make excellent picnic options.
