Great spot for hiking & birding and breathtaking views! Grab a lunch at the Camden Deli and take the very short drive to the park. We had the place to ourselves - no crowds here. Serenity and silence.

A little bit pricey for no more than there is to see, but veterans do get a discount as do seniors. The view is quiet stunning. Great picture opportunity.

We walked up to Adam's lookout and took in the views right across to Acadia. The path has some tricky climbs over rock outcrops and would be slippery in wet weather. The park fees are very expensive for its size and facilities.

When it is clear, you will find this hard to beat! Penobscot bay spread out in front of you, with views from Blue hill, Mt. DESERT, Deer Isle, Isle au Haut, North Haven & Vinyl Haven, Rockland, Owls head, Mussle Ridge, and Monhegan Island. Wow, remember to glance down and see Camden spread out below.

We were visiting the area and decided to hike the ocean view trail on Mt. Megunticook. Even though the summer season was over, upon entering the State Park we were told it was $6 per person to enter. We found that to be an outrageous price to hike a one mile trail. Couldn't believe it was so much money to... More

After searching for a good foliage trip to experience with our company from New York we decided Camden hills was the place to do it. We started off driving up the road to the top of mount battie. The views were awesome with great color in mid October. After we hiked the megunticook trail. This was a easy to moderate... More

We hiked several of the trails- there are many to choose from. All are well maintained. The views at the top were spectacular.
