Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Döberitzer Heide is a vast natural protection area that covers a former military exercise area. Nowadays it is covered with most beautiful heathland and is home to wild horses, bisons and other interesting species. However, during our walk we weren’t lucky and didn’t see any of the (large) animals. There are numerous hiking paths through the heaths, but signage definitely needs an improvement. Most junctions do not feature any indication as were to go whatsoever. Some of the plans at resting sites appear to have been taken away.

Very beautiful landscape, you can hear lots of animals and it's great for walking, there are also places to sit. But the best thing were the wild horses and a light-colored moose that we saw briefly.
If you like hiking, love nature and pay attention to small things, this is the right place for you.
