Not a good place to visit with a credit card. So many things I want to buy? Beautiful layout, spacious aisles, great place to shop for Christmas.

LLBean fashion gets old after a while and at the prices they charge I’m not a fan. I recommend the boots but you can find the same outerwear and clothing for half the price without the name attached.

LL Bean is brilliant. If you are anywhere near Freeport this is a must visit. First, they are open 24 hours - how awesome is this. Second, they offer great customer service - especially if you bring in your current item for help. LL Bean...More

LL Bean actually has the factory store, a furniture store and an Outlet store all in down town Freeport. We visited off season and had no problem finding parking in the main lot. The "campus" which is the only way I can think to describe...More

Leonard Leonard would be proud of the flagship. High quality outdoor clothes, toys and accessories and competent pleasant staff that are available and helpful. Not for the bargain hunter except for a corner in the men's wear department.

Traveled to LL Bean on 11/9. We arrived around 6:00pm and there were very few people shopping- I've heard it can get really crowded! They were offering 20% off everything- Veterans Day special! My husband bought a pair of boots and a heavy winter coat....More

I love shopping in this store. Something for everyone. Hunting, fishing, clothes, housewares. They were seeing up the trees for christmas, the smell was amazing from all the trees. It takes a longer time to go through the store as it is very large.

I used to purchase several times a year in the past before they changed their logo on the back of their bean boots from LL Bean HUNTING boot to Bean boots just to appease the bunny huggers. They lost me after that. These boots were...More

There is a campus of stores and also a restaurant opposite. Lobster rolls etc. I think 2 to 3 hours including lunch.

I answered and then had a thought - does the cruise ship stop in Freeport or just in Portland? First check that out because it's about 18-20 miles from Portland to Freeport. Perhaps Uber might be a cheaper option.
