It is managed and run so very well. A beautiful treasure. One of the best state parks I have seen. I highly recommend a visit.

Clean well maintained park with so much to do. We only came for the day but if I was camping or boating I'm sure I would have been pleased with the facilities. They looked impeccable.

$7 p/adult non residents Spent a few hours having a picnic at the beach area. Clean beautiful views and restrooms. Saw lots of deer. There was an area to launch kayaks but the wind was wicked strong and lake looked like ocean with white caps.

Pretty but not a lot of walking trails. Okay for a picnic but cold to use lake to swim.. Park people nice.

-Very nice and clean campground. Tent site 33 was beautiful- corner site on the lake. The "comfort station" is worth the short drive for private hot showers and flush toilets. I didn't see any moose, but there were plenty of deer freely roaming the park....More

Lovely park on the southeast edge of Moosehead Lake. We had a 24 foot rv plus tow vehicle. Some of the sites looked iffy for rv but we had a fairly level site that was easy to back into. Lots of tents, pop-ips in park...More

A nice quiet state park on the lake. There is only one large bathhouse/restroom facility. Near the campsites are very clean pit toilets and water faucets. And no electric hookups. But the sites are very nice and large. The staff is helpful and friendly. The...More

There are no changing facilities at this beach. Every other State Park that we have visited have changing rooms. There was one very not so nice outhouse. Would not even consider using it to change into a swim suit. Picnic tables were very nice. Stone...More

There are no on-site hook ups. There is water dispersed around the campground, very nice pit toilets adjacent to campsites, and a bathhouse at the beginning of the entrance to the campground. But the sites are beautiful.
