We have wanted to visit the Brick Store Museum since I worked in Kennebunk in the early 90's but we just never got there. Today we planned to visit and had a great experience. The historic museum had items related to the Revolutionary War, clothing from the 1800's, a great medical exhibition, voting related items, and much more. It was... More

Their changing exhibits are fantastic - and their guided tours of the areas are wonderful. For a small local museum - they are amazing. A must see

Went there on Wednesday due to the cold, rainy day. We were able to get $1 off the tickets with my AAA card. The museum is two floors, it used to be a store. There are dresses from the past worn by ancestors from the town. Also, there is a lot on the diseases that affected the town years ago.... More

Went because we got a half price Groupon. Certainly not worth the full price. Rather boring especially for children

If you are a history buff and are interested in Kennebunk this is the place. We have visited the area for several years, it was interesting to get to know the whys and where's. Several buildings are linked together so it is much larger than it first appears. Informed staff to answer guestions.

This cultural museum has gathered together art, books, furniture, clothes, artifacts & just plain "cool stuff" from all over the world, brought home to Kennebunk by the sailors, sea-captains & ship owners that made this beautiful little town well-known in Canton, Sydney, London and other ports of call during the 19th century. It's right in the middle of town and... More

We go to Maine for its wonderful shoreline and outdoor activities. But it was raining the first day we spent in Kennebunkport. So we decided to try the Brick Store Museum and were pleased that we had. The museum had a very informative and nicely selected exhibit of 50 items to represent the history of the region, as well as... More

My wife and I visited this museum on our way to York, Maine. It is a small museum with lots of history. The historical pieces, paintings and photographs were beautiful. It takes about 45 min to 1 hour to see the museum. The staff member was friendly and explained the history of the building, family and what we would see.

We stopped here while on vacation and it was such a hidden gem! They had great exhibits showcasing local Kennebunk history. We really liked the Memory in Black and White Gallery that showed off old photos that had been taken by a Kennebunk local. It was like traveling back in time. They also had a fantastic room full of illustrations... More
