Beautiful Place to View the Ocean..

Beautiful Place to View the Ocean.. Parking was a bit difficult but well worth it to sit and over look the wonderful Maine coast.

Of course, you can't get terribly close to it, but it's still exciting to see from the street. You definitely can't miss it either (lots of people pulled to the side to take pictures and the location of the property itself is amazing). There's a place where you can pull off to the side of the road- this is the... More

OK, so you park along the road and get out to take pics of the "Bush Family Compound" - it's kinda weird and stupid, but at the same time, George Sr and George Jr and heck - JEB - all lived here, the kids great up here...it's history and frankly, this is a very pretty spot for looking out at... If you are don't live near the ocean and are a Bush (Sr) or Barbara fan, it is a great place to stop and take pictures. As I have lived either on or within a mile of the ocean for years, the view is similar to home, however, the history and the compound itself is enjoyable.

My wife and I drove by to see the Bush compound on Walkers Point. Looks like a nice place from afar, wish we could have seen it close up though.

While the main area of Walker's Point (the Bush compound) is closed and heavily guarded, the areas around it have some of the best ocean views you'll find anywhere. There's a wonderful lookout area with public parking along Shore Rd./Ocean Ave. just northeast of Walker's Point. Definitely worth a stop for some beautiful ocean views and a little bit of... More

A beautiful place in Maine. Not so hard to find, you must go with no rush. The view worth it. Unfortunatelly it's almost impossible to have a coffee with the Bush family.

It was fun to see the vacation spot of #41 and #43. You hear about the POTUS's (former) special places and if you are in the area, it's fun to take a look if you can. I would not plan a day around it, but if in the area, take a look. You will see many beautiful homes along the... More

Make no special plans around this place but when in the neighborhood. .....drive by. But do not stop in the driveway or go up to the guard house. You might be questioned and your afternoon blown. Striking and spartan at the same time.
