Really cool to look out into the ocean from hikes filled with wild blackberries and raspberries. Cool shipwreck at the bottom of the island. Lots of other reviewers were salty over lack of bathrooms... the whole island is not a public park. Some establishments have...More

Took the boat from Boothbay Harbor. Nice ride over. Captain informative about islands as we left Boothbay. She slowed the boat as we passed a shark with its fin up out of the water and also for a whale spotting. The island has not changed...More

We took the 7 am boat from Port Clyde and returned on the 4:30 pm boat the same day. During the time my husband and I were there, we hiked the entire Cliff trail (wear appropriate footwear), enjoyed "lunch" at Monhegan Brewing, and returned to...More

There are three ferries a day from Port Clyde during tourist season. 7, 10:30, and 3pm. After that it drops to only the 10:30 boat and then to once a week I think.
