Sunday River’s wide fairways, dynamic green settings, pristine playing conditions and jaw-dropping alpine views combine to form what architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. calls his “mountain golf masterpiece.” GOLF Magazine agrees, consistently naming Sunday River to its "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." ranking each year the list is published. Golfweek Magazine has consistently named Sunday River the #1 Course in Maine.

What a great golf course overlooked by the ski slopes of this great resort. Sunday River have done a great job to carve out a tight but fair course around the mountains. A destination I'll definitely be returning to.

Yes, normally they are assuming they don't get an early snow. The mountains are beautiful during October with the foliage.
