The Thuya Gardens and Lodge were terrific. Wonderful staff/docents helped us learn a lot. A peaceful beautiful place with well tended gardens away from it all. Ensure you walk the pathways where they are doing butterfly conservation and fern gardens. Also, park in the lot...More

Lots of steps but well graded. Did with my bad knees. Good view of harbor and then u are at gardens. We walked back up to our car after lunch at inn

Surprise to find border garden tuck on top of mountain. Nicely done with perennials & annual. There is a hiking trail from the base of the mountain to the garden.

I must see if you are in the area. Great views and beautiful gardens. Visited in early September 2016. Beautiful views of NE Harbor as well. Truly breathtaking

Love this place. It' immaculate, a bit like going to the Master gold course. It's very peaceful (or it should be anyway), a nice place to to relax, or look at the different flowers if that's your thing.

agreed with all the suggestion above. We just drove up to the top garden spend 30min for the garden & house. If decide to drive bear in mind the road is tight (one car lane)

Yes ..thuya garden on top of the hill , the wooden lodge is on the property. Hope this help..happy trail
