Must visit when you are in the area, the entrance is free and there was suggested donation of $5, we were there second week of October and the place was just full of colours. It was very quiet, small garden but still worth the stop...More

We were here in October so no azaleas but the gardens are beautiful regardless. It was a nice way to spend some time. Nice walk paths to get around the gardens. I would love to visit when the azaleas are in bloom. There is a...More

After spending several hours exploring various parts of Acadia National Park, our guide suggested a stop at Asticou Azalea Garden. It was a wonderful stroll through a beautiful, serene garden. There were small ponds, creeks & well manicured lawns and shrubs. We were here in...More

This Japanese garden is beautiful! It's tucked away in a quiet place. I did not expect much color, because azaleas don't normally bloom in the fall. But a lack of azalea blooms didn't matter, as all the plants were vibrant with vivid, bright colors: reds,...More

This is another nice little area to take a stroll. Such a contrast to the trails we have been on in the park. No blooms this time of year, but still a nice break from the overwhelming scenery of Acadia.

Beautiful gardens. An enjoyable place to walk and enjoy nature at its best. A nice change from the hiking trails.

The month of June is supposed to be the peak of the Azaleas season, so we couldn't find anything in the garden. This garden is close to Thuya Gardens, just a few minutes of walk. The garden is beautiful, worth a stop even in the...More

If I lived in the area I would come here regularly just to be quiet and reflective. Even though we were here in September and there were no azalias in bloom, the garden itself was worth taking the time to enjoy because of its beauty...More

I suspect there will be significant bloom at this time but this is such a delightful garden tat a visit would be worthwhile at any time. When I visited there was little in flower but that didn't reduce the experience though... More
