My wife & I head to Maine every year for Christmas Prelude and we stay in Ogunquit at the Rockmere Inn right on the Marginal way. The Marginal Way weaves along the rocky coast of Maine overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, for over a mile. We walk it every morning, catching the sunrise and we usually double the mile by walking... this should be considered a national treasure. most locations like this are "private property" "keep out" type of places. a wonderful paved walk around a point that joins a quaint town and beach with a picturesque cove. ..................and............it's free!

Walk along the rocks and ocean. Views are breathtaking at times and you can see the many homes along the path.

A favorite scenic walk for sure. Beautiful at dawn, relaxing at sunset and super in between. Not too crowded and easy to walk through neighborhoods to break up the route.

Wonderful couple mile along the coast. Great scenery great houses along the way. I would try during a windy high tide and again at low tide to see the contrast. Great leisurely walk

What an outstanding experience. Beautiful views of the Maine coast. I was in a wheelchair with my wife pushing and we had no major problems, great paved path. We are retired and aren't very big dude or dudette and really had a great experience.

there''s never a bad time to walk marginal way. This also means that its always fairly busy. Be aware of that and be ready to see amazing views the whole way.
