Nice Beach Area

Easy to get to and very pretty. Leave the car at your hotel and walk! Streets get very congested and parking is pricey.

Beautiful large beaches - but be aware of the tides - at high tide, a large portion of the Main Beach disappears. Footbridge Beach is always there - high or low tide. Parking can be expensive - just be aware.

I go on a lot of Caribbean cruises so I have been to many tropical and beautiful beaches in paradise. I can honestly say that Oguniquit Beach is one of the prettiest I have ever seen. First of all, it's huge. There is lots of space to throw a Frisbee and play games. The ocean view is spectacular and the... More

We love the beach here. Especially the footbridge end of it. It may not have the amenities of the town beach end but its walking distance from our favorite motel which is a good thing since parking is expensive. The beach is huge so its easy to get the space to spread out and enjoy the day.

Ogunquit is known for the beaches but you need to be mindful of where you plant your umbrella. The beach by the entrance is very very crowded, lots of families. There are areas further down that seem to be more gay friendly. My favorite part is by footbridge life guard stand.....it's much less crowded and the beach is wider. Anywhere... More

The beach area is huge, with soft sand and at low tide, an expanse of beach. There are a couple restaurants, a bar or two, and a couple sea side hotels. Walking distance to town or take a tram. The fact that you can walk from the town center makes this a fun place. There is parking at the beach,... More

This beach is always well maintained, has a great beach shower area, both an expansive beach to walk and also a lazy inland river you can traverse if you fancy. Decent stores there but plenty more and great restaurants a short walk away. Plenty of parking and nice drop-off areas if you want to cheapen your parking expense,

What a great town. It had everything. Such quaint little shops. People very friendly. Go for dinner, sit outside to people watch, then wander around the town in and out of the shops. Very unique. Not overly expensive.

The beach in Ogunquit is close to the B&B where we were the black boar Inn about a 7 minute walk and if not there is a Trolly service that will accomodate and get you down there

Beware dog owners. Not at all dog friendly. Check out which beaches your dog can go on before visiting. Wells beaches less busy and more dog friendly.
