Allagash Brewing Company is dedicated to crafting the best Belgian-inspired beers in the world. Best known for our flagship beer, Allagash White, we also enjoy aging beer in oak barrels (beginning with the launch of Curieux in 2004) and spontaneously fermented beers (beginning with our traditional Coolship in 2007). Come up and visit us - we'd love to show you around.

Did the Allagash Brewery tour this weekend with some friends and family. Our tour guide was very knowledgable. Able to sample some brews at the beginning of the tour and a few more at the end. Tour was a little long for my taste. They could have gotten away with a half hour tour vs the hour they had. Have... More

We enjoy visiting local breweries so the Allagash was on our list on a recent trip to Portland. We opted to skip the tour and just enjoy the beer and the great tasting room. They provide each guest with free samples of the four beers that are on tap that day. We had a very interesting chat with one of... More

As soon as you walk in the staff greet you nicely and were very friendly the entire time we were there. The beers are great and the store had a lot of awesome things to buy! Be careful you could get carried away and spend a lot! The prices were reasonable and there is even collars and leads for the... More

My kid took me here (his idea, not mine! and we had a blast! It was totally fun, informative, interesting, and (no surprise) extremely tasty! Not sure if you need to or (can) make reservations, but if you can it might be a good idea. Maybe not so hot for toddlers-small kids. Infants in packs, why not? (Also not sure... More

Such an amazing experience! We visited the brewery for a VIP tour while on vacation from Georgia. The entire experience blew my expectations out of the water! From the moment we stepped out of the car, this place screams perfection. Not only was our guide a true expert on beer, the Allagash brews were out of this world. The white... More

My wife and I were thrilled by Tim's tour and explanation of the history and beers of Allagash. He was very entertaining and informative. The specialty brews were particularly interesting. I highly recommend this brewery tour!

I had the opportunity to check this out yesterday afternoon with family. Upon arrival you are greeted with a lanyard and a sample of their House beer (very tasty). Our guide then brought us around the new and the old manufacturing areas. She was both passionate about the company's history, as well as the process of how they brew beer.... More

The tour was such an eye opener. The science behind the technique is astonishing. Many thanks to our tour guide, Meg. She was delightful. So knowledgeable, but more importantly, so genuine and sincere. Great place to spend a few hours. The staff is one happy crew that is reflected in the atmosphere of the brewery. And of course, the beer... More
