With all the breweries and distilleries, take a moment to try something new. We visited the Maine Mead Works on a rainy day to Portland. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful with the tastings. We chose the flight to try 4 different options. Loved them...More

We make homemade wine, and wanted to try to make mead, so decided to stop here. We got a short tour of the mead-making facilities and the guide gave us a few tips. Then we sampled the mead and it was fabulous. They have such...More

We enjoyed tasting several types of mead. He was very informative. The only bad part was that what we decided we wanted, they didn't have. He suggested various stores that might have them.

My first experience drinking meade was amazing. We had a flight of 7 different flavors for only $7! The lavender and chai were so good that I purchased a bottle of each. Please visit and support the local businesses!
