great path along the water

This is a great trail that leads along the waterfront with a perfect view of the water at all times. Go run or take it leisurely at your own pace. Picnic tables. Grass.

If you live here you should walk or run here as often as possible. If you are visiting this is a super walk and drive using the car as a living room extension. Charming old large houses, the fort, many memorials, and ah yes the water views. There is even a beach. Turn onto Congress where there is a historical... More

Walking jogging, running or bike riding this trail is very pretty just to observe this surrounding beauty of water and boats. Sit down and just day dream on gorgeous sunny days. People are very friendly in the area.

No matter what the season you will find something interesting to view as you stroll this easy walk around the Eastern Promenade. Great for biking, walking or jogging. Be sure to pay it a visit. The trail runs from the The end of Commercial Street all the way up to the ferry landing just before the Back Cove.

Park your car near the Ocean Gateway and take this very nice and easy walk along the water with view to the forts and islands. It’s possible to make a loop up (by the water treatment facility) to the Eastern Promenade Midslope trail and once up higher in the park, walk along the Eastern Promenade with stunning view of the... We explored both the high sidewalk trail and the lower trail by the railroad tracks. Based on the reviews, I'd been excited for a gorgeous water view trail. It's a bit more industrial than that. There are good views of the water, and you also pass the water treatment plant. We also saw two women drinking beer and dropping the... More

We enjoyed a Saturday morning stroll on this trail with beautiful waterfront scenery. The trail is mostly away from street traffic which makes it very peaceful. You may see a cruise ship at one end of the trail. Many people walk their dogs here.

This is a beautiful trail with a lot of walkers, runners, kids, and biking. It's nice to take a stroll by the water or to sit and enjoy a book or the sailboats. The trail is well kept and clean. However, there are a good amount of sketchy people here. There was a naked woman and man fighting in clear... More
