I've been going here for years because it's a nice beach but there are some serious negative aspects of this place. 1) It's way too expensive given that they don't have any "real" bathrooms - pit toilets only 1 outdoor shower 2) The parking is...More

Been here many times. Great beach near Prouts Neck. Lifeguards, bathrooms, and limited parking. Can be very crowded on summer weekends. Great body surfing in fabulously clear Atlantic waters. Bring chairs and picnic lunch, no food for sale since the old grocer closed. Wonderful walks...More

There's plenty of sandy coast line at this beach. It was really packed when we went but we still managed to find a spot to setup. There are a lot of waves and the water was freezing! In all, it's still a great beach to...More

Lots of sandy beach to sit, play and watch the waves. I didn't brave the cold Maine water, but others did.

Great beach..very scenic. It is also good for surfing with the right weather conditions. It can be busy and parking is limited that can cause the access to be a bit of a problem during peak times. The staff is not always the most customer focused.

I have been coming here since I was a small child. It is a magnificent beach. There is a couple good food trucks in the summer. I like it best in the winter when you can walk the entire beach and never see another person.

The first day we went there was an awful smell. Went back the next evening and there was around any longer. Spent the next day there enjoying the sun & sand.

A little pricey if you're a non-resident, but well worth it for a full day on the beach. The beach itself is a long, beautiful sand beach, great for walking, especially at lower tides. There is sometimes a line waiting for the beach to open;...More

Clean facilities, tons of parking. This is a great spot to visit with kids of all ages. Easy access to restrooms and parking across the street.

I truly have not used the restrooms this season, but they were in need of updating as I recall from past years. Not sure why they have been left so rustic since all other nearby parks have nice facilities. For the $5. Per... More
