Our hosts suggested a trail starting at Long Pond to head up to Beech Mountain and the Fire Tower with glorious 360 views. We met very few people on this path and IMHO was a better option than starting at the Car Park closest to...More

The trail was well marked with natural signage. Quiet cool stroll through the trees. Neat stone steps to aid the climb to the top. ON top the view was great, able too see alot, 1st timers , not sure what all the islands/ mountains were,...More

Beautiful.. Watch a sunset there, just stunning. This is on the easy side of moderate. Short, sweet, beautiful vista. Appears to be undergoing renovation.

Fantastic hike on the quiet side with wonderful views. My 75-year-old mother, my 10-year-old son and I all enjoyed the hike to the summit and fire tower.

I really like this hike -- not too easy, not too hard. It's a good view and great spot for lunch, if you bring it with you.
