We are a full service alpaca farm offering farm tours year round. We are home to 40 beautiful luxury fiber alpacas. Our on farm store is filled with amazing soft alpaca clothing and gifts. We also have 2 additional retail shops. The first is located at 608 Atlantic Highway, Northport, Maine only 29 miles from the farm. This location offers a much larger selection of clothing as well as an education center and fiber area. We also have a shop in downtown Ellsworth Maine located at 112 Main Street. This store also has a very large yarn offering as well as a full variety of all of our alpaca clothing and gifts.

Our tour guide was new to the farm but very informed and knowledgeable about each individual alpaca and the farms history and ongoing business practices. It was a fun day out and we saw many young alpaca's. Ebony was just 4 days old! The shop...More

I was expecting to find merchandise made by the owners of the Alpaca farm. Evidentially, most of the Alpaca hair grown in Maine, is shipped to Peru and merchandise is returned to the farm. The same items are available at any craft fair in the State....More

Here at Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm we shear 300 lbs of fiber from our alpacas every year. ALL of that fiber is made into hundreds of skeins of yarn and beautiful alpaca clothing. Our on farm store is very small and only a sampling of...More

Sonnet gave an excellent presentation of the farm. It's obvious that she enjoys working with these delightful animals. I highly recommend this tour. Nothing like being up close with an alpaca.

This is a great place to bring the kids and the clothing items sold in the shop are hard to find anywhere else.

Enjoyed the hour & 1:2 tour. Grandson had fun isiting the gentle animals. Lots of nice stuff to buy in the store; a bit expensive but the purchases were great reminders of the visit

This well-kept alpaca farm is a well-kept animal farm freindly to visitors. The alpacas are cute and friendly. Photo-ops are easily available, as are some alpaca fur products available at the shop. It's on the back road just behind the MOFGA Common Ground Fair grounds.
