How could you go to york beach and not visit the lighthouse. It is what we do year after year when we visit. Nothing beats being up so high overlooking the endless ocean.

If you are driving through the area be sure to pull over to get a picture. Nice place to take a break and enjoy the scenery.

One of our favorite stops while in Maine is this Lighthouse. Great views, good parking, clean and well stocked gift shop, clean restrooms

A must see! It’s so peaceful out here seeing the island with the lighthouse and all the buoys with lobster traps in the water. Loved it!
