We were in town to have lunch with family and stumbled upon this little gem. We enjoyed learning about the history of the canal. We only spent about a half hour going through but you could've stayed longer.

History all around. This is a great way to teach kids about how the railways worked and moved our country.

National Park has a great museum to visit and learn about the area and C & O Canal. Fascinating to learn how the boats were built and how families lived on them almost their entire lives. Must visit.
