    Fantastic zoo
Had a lovely day at the zoo, loved how clean everywhere was (even the toilets at the end of the day). The animal enclosures all looked clean and well kept, as did all the animals. We loved how close we could get to the animals especially the lions and elephants, they were our favourite. There are lots of different animals to see so it’s suitable for every member of the family. Thank you to your staff member (sorry forgot her name) who ran the Bear talk who took the time to talk to us about the bears and also answered our questions about the other animals too. She’s a credit to your team even after only being there a month she was able to give us lots of information. We will be definitely returning to the zoo later on in the year.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review! We are glad you had a great day getting up close to the lions and elephants as well as listening to our Bear talk. We have passed on your feedback to the Bear keepers. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Fantastic! If you're considering going, don't read any more, just book it!
Great reviews online and from family and friends made me book a trip for me and the girls in the easter holidays. Coming from South Wales, Noah's Ark Zoo Farm, is less than an hour away and easy to find off J19 of the M5. We visited early April and it wasn't too busy, and with a lovely bit of sunshine. Lots of staff as soon as you arrive to greet you, and offer any advice or help. There is a Shaun the sheep app you can download (before hand) and use around the park, but with the park in the middle of the countryside, I found I had very little signal for most of the time (I'm on O2). Not that it mattered. There were far more animals that I was expecting, seeing the Elephants up close was special, as were the Gibbon Monkeys making an absolute racket talking to each other! The park offers different talks by the zoo keepers and those we went to were really excellent as well! My youngest daughter especially loved being able to see and smooth the guinea pigs and bunny rabbits up close. The park is also very clean and tidy, lots of bins and things to see and do. (we lost 45 minutes in the maze on it's own!). Highly recommended and definitely a place we will visit again.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review! We are glad to hear you had a great day in the sunshine. We were sorry to hear you struggled with the app, whilst the app doesn't require Wi-Fi/signal to work we have been working through a few technical glitches and it now seems to be working better. We are glad this didn't affect your visit and you were able to enjoy the animals, sunshine and of course the maze! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

    Elephant keeper experience
I visited the zoo for an elephant keeper experience and it was amazing! The keeper I had the experience with (Connor) and his colleagues were really friendly and gave me lots of information about the elephants and how to care for them. It really was a beautiful experience and something I’ve not seen any where else. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a gift for someone! The zoo itself was also really good- the shows and keeper talks throughout the day were great, the staff were all friendly and you can tell the animals are cared for with love. Thankyou for such a good day!
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We are thrilled you had such a fantastic day with your Elephant experience and we will ensure this feedback is passed on to Connor and the rest of the Elephant team. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

A wonderful day out for all ages!
A brilliant day out for all ages! We visited Noahs Ark in the Easter holidays to celebrate my daughter's 5th birthday with a group from age 4 -82! The layout of the zoo is really clear and well laid out with play areas for the children dotted around between the animals. The timed talks are advertised on a board as you enter the zoo which is helpful for planning your day. There are plenty of picnic areas including covered areas for wetter weather. We also used the cafe for ice creams and coffees although I did notice the food on offer looked of really good quality and reasonably priced particularly the children's lunch box deal which I would probably opt for next time. The bird of prey display was fantastic and the animal handlers were very informative. The Ark Arena is a great space! My children had a brilliant time in the playbarn and the smaller soft play area. They could have stayed in these areas alone all day and be very happy! The cafe in the playbarn also offers a good selection of refreshments. We really enjoyed enjoyed doing the new Ewan trail! This worked really well and the app was very easy to use. The enclosures of all the animals are wonderfully maintained and the animals are clearly very well cared for. The Bears, Elephants and Lions have amazing enclosures but all still have wonderful viewing opportunities. We can't wait to return in the summer!
Thank you for writing such a lovely review, it sounds like you had a great day celebrating your daughter's 5th birthday. Please pass on a big happy birthday to her from all the staff and animals here! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

    Fantastic Day Out
What a wonderful day myself, my daughter and her friends had here. There were so many beautiful animals to see and we even got lucky enough to feed a Water Buffalo called Bridgett. The food in the restaurant was great as was the service. We all really enjoyed our day out and look forward to visiting you again soon. Lorraine Williams

    Brilliant day out
Very pleasantly surprised by this place. We had a fab day and the kids absolutely loved it. Never been so close to the animals before and they all looked very well looked after. We loved the maze and the kids spent hours in the play barn, I had to extract them to go home. Very much recommend and we will be back.
Thank you for your lovely review! It is great to hear you had such a fantastic day here with the kids. Congratulations on completing Britain's longest hedge maze. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!

    Great day out
We visited on a Sunday, great weather and got there around 11. Beautiful well kept park with friendly staff. Good selection of animals in Nice open large spaces. The elephats , big cats and rhinos all had good size spaces , but ghouhht the giraffe space was disappointing. Plenty of playgrounds for children spotted about, along with food huts. Overall a great day out and got some lovely photos. We'll done! Keep it up!
Thank you for your review, we are glad you had a great visit and the perfect zoo weather too. We were sorry to hear that you felt the giraffe had a small space, whilst they tend to stay close to the house they have full access to the adjacent field along with the zebra and ostrich. It was great to hear that you enjoyed seeing all the animals and the children enjoyed the play areas too. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

    Enjoyable day out
Had a fab bank holiday Monday here. Under an hour from Cardiff. No children with us but didn't spoil the day. Park spotlessly clean, no litter anywhere as plenty of bins around. Animal pens very clean. The animals were in excellent condition also. Loads of different breeds and farm and zoo a good mixture. Cafe clean and not expensive and plenty of outlets around for drinks and ice creams. Toilets spotless. Next time I'm bringing my grandson Nico 22 months , he would love it. My only reservation were the size of the aviaries for the bigger birds such as the sea eagle seemed a bit small. Overall an excellent visit. All the other animal enclosures were quite large
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. It is great to hear you enjoyed a beautiful bank holiday day out together. Our main priority is the welfare of animals. We are formally inspected with full zoo inspections by the Local Authority which looks at welfare, enclosure design and our management of each species. The reports have always commended our standard of animal care and we take this seriously. All of our animals including our sea eagles receive daily enrichment from our dedicated team of keepers. We can't wait to see you and your grandson at the zoo soon for his first visit!

This was our third visit with the grandchildren.
We felt the entrance fee was good value for money and the food prices very reasonable.
The children love seeing the animals and the play areas which are varied and there is something for all age ranges.
The team members we met were very nice and friendly and the park was clean and well set out.
The highlight for me is always the magnificent sea eagles, however it always strikes me how small the cage is.
They can flap their wings maybe twice as they fly across the cage, it’s not enough.
I don’t doubt their care, but I’m not sure that large flight birds should have a place in captivity any more.
Also the birds of prey cages were empty, no leaves, trees or branches, just the bird a box and a perch.
They were spotlessly clean and it maybe there are normally branches in there and they were in the middle of cleaning them, I hope so.
We will be back next year. 😀

Visited when son was 3 who is now 8 and the site unfortunately seems to have gone backwards in 5 years.

Softplay area is now run down and needs some attention.

Where are the Tigers? They were the highlight before and now no where to be seen.

Restaurant was expensive and a real lack of options. £6 for a children’s sandwich meal is a total rip off.

Have to say I’m disappointed.

Overall; we enjoyed our visit.
Every single member of staff was so nice and seemed really welcoming and friendly. I was so impressed with the knowledge they all held about everything from the animals to the food menus! A credit to the zoo!
There was great food and I felt the prices were reasonable for the quality. The food came quickly considering how busy it was today.
There was also plenty to keep children of all ages well entertained. I really liked the variety of playgrounds throughout the zoo, and the soft play was fantastic. I’d really recommend a visit if you have young children!
Most of the exhibits were really lovely, we loved the elephants and the lions too.
However, I did feel a couple lacked adequate space or enrichment for the animals (specifically the crocodile and the eagles). I hope that this is improved in the future!
I would also like to see a breastfeeding friendly signs placed around the zoo. Although they state online that they are breastfeeding friendly (which is the law), I had a very unpleasant experience when feeding my baby daughter (fully covered up!) where another visitor was very rude to me, and I feel like appropriate signs would have been helpful.

Hi there E4668Hlalexandra. Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. Wow, it sounds like you had a great day with your family; from making full use of our play areas, to fuelling up with some delicious food in the café, to meeting our lions and elephants! We are also pleased to hear you that you felt welcomed by our team at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm. We have a fantastic and knowledgeable team who are always happy to share their knowledge with our visitors. We will make sure your kind words will get back to them! We are, however, sorry to hear that you had a couple of negative experiences during your visit. We are formally inspected every two years with a full zoo inspection by the Local Authority which investigates animal welfare, enclosure design and our management of each species. The reports have always commended our standard of animal care and we take this very seriously. Our main priority is the wellbeing of our animals. Our animal enclosures are carefully planned with animal welfare at the forefront of the design process. In addition, all animals do receive daily enrichment and care from our dedicated team of keepers. We are sorry to hear about your experience with another visitor whilst you were breastfeeding. Our team are here to help, and are always on the look out to make sure all our visitors have a positive experience at the Zoo. Unfortunately, we are not always able to spot these circumstances and are sorry that another visitor has made you feel uncomfortable. We have breastfeeding signage around the Zoo and have added more since your review to prevent this from happening again. Thank you for sharing this experience with us. Thank you for informing us of what has happened, we appreciate and value all feedback as this helps welcome any suggestions that can improve the experience here. We also appreciate your care and consideration for our animals! This was our 1st visit for the Elephant experiment and it was amazing...
Would highly recommend.
We were looked after by Tom and Connor who were brilliant! They are clearly experts as well as being friendly and welcoming.
We got to meet the three Elephants in their luxury state of the art apartment, love the fact that everything is done in the interests of the animals.
The experience and looking around the zoo afterwards also made for a brilliant day.
We will be back- Thankyou for making us so welcome 😀

My experience of visiting Noah’s Ark Zoo was nothing but utterly appalling and shocking. This incredibly depressing visit really had me totally confused about how they have not closed down yet? I would join any petition or campaign to see it close. There are simply not enough characters for me to imply how devastatingly bored and sad every animal looked. No where near enough space for each animal in their pens. Rhinos looked depressed, the small pen for the Giraffes, tiny cages for birds, bare, empty and small areas for all the animals was so old fashioned. I truly thought this was cruelty. Need investing in more space for these beautiful creatures. Horrible to see such sad looking animals. It was just awful. Do not recommend.

Hello Lily, we are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience at Noah’s Ark. We are formally inspected every two years with a full zoo inspection by the Local Authority which looks into animal welfare, enclosure design and our management of each species. The reports have always commended our standard of animal care and we take this very seriously. Our main priority is the wellbeing of our animals. Our animal enclosures are carefully planned with animal welfare at the forefront of the design process. Our Elephant enclosure for example, is the biggest in Northern Europe and includes a built-in forest (off display area) and lots of enrichment opportunities including barrels, mud wallows and much more. Our big cat enclosure is over an acre in size, and the lions can access both the outdoor enclosure and the indoor house area 24-hours a day. As another example, our bear enclosure is comprised of a large outdoor paddock area (containing climbing equipment, enrichment, and a pool) and an indoor house area. Similarly, our rhinos and giraffes have access to both their indoor heated houses and large outdoor paddocks. In addition, all our animals including our rhinos, giraffes and birds receive daily enrichment from our dedicated team of keepers. Once again, we are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your visit and we do appreciate your care for the animals. If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at info@noahsarkzoofarm.co.uk.

We had a great time visiting and seeing all of the animals including the baby camel and baby zebra.

Plenty of seating around the enclosures so always somewhere to sit and watch the animals.

Everything about this place is spot on, we had a lovely day here. The cafe food was simple, but well cooked and good value. I especially enjoyed the side salad.
If you go on a Tuesday during term time there is special discount for pensioners.
The whole site has been well thought out for both visitors and animals and everywhere was spotless. The animals have a lot of well designed spacious enclosures and all looked happy and healthy. For humans there are plenty of play areas, refreshment stalls, seating and toilets all around the site.

There is lots of info about each species, as well as interactive talks by the staff. We attended the owl flying session and it was amazing with the owls flying right between us. There are many pumpkins for sale at the moment, along with a small farm shop.
The staff were great and the whole place was run with pride and love.
I have to say that it was much better than our recent visit to The Bristol zoo project which is good, but undergoing a lot of change this year.

This place is just really wonderful, I am super impressed by my first trip here as a birthday treat from my partner, and we will definitely be returning.
Definitely do visit, and have plenty of time as there is so much to see! Plenty of access for disabled people, and plenty to do for young kids and toddlers and there is a resultant on-site which offers a large menu.

How really refreshing to see spacious, well furnished enclosures for all animals, big and small.
Really nice to know the animals have multiple options of activities and enrichment in their enclosures, and also the option to roam around outside. All enclosures were clean, tidy, and the animals are obviously the keepers top priorities and all looked great. The keepers we met were lovely and happy to answer our questions.

A huge variety of animals to see, from livestock (farm animals) to zoo animals and small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. Also great to see the Suffolk Punch here being an endangered breed it was very good to see - as well as seeing the positive aspect and learn about the aids of ensuring we look after the zoo animals around the world. This place is really great, and a really positive zoo with impressive areas, unlike some others.
Thank you Noah’s Ark, we will definitely be returning!

This zoo is amazing from play areas to animals everything is well thought about and easy to access. The play barn was nothing I'd seen before well thought out high balance beams to over 5 different slides there was something for everyone. & an under 5s soft play. The elephants have huge enclosures with loads of land as do the lions, zebras, bears, and Rhinos. The Trampolines were great too, I'd recommend this zoo to anyone. We had the best time and will be back.
